Quick (TL;DR) ⚡🧠

While most of my peers are stuck recycling the same, SAFE Future of Work debates… I’m building a bolder blueprint for 2025-50.

It unfolds across 3 interlinked projects:

  • FutureSelot.com
My AI-Augmented Career Asset, Personal Think Tank, and Strategic Case Study.
  • Your Move, Human
A Weekly Work Evolution Dispatch ft. the YMH Newsletter, Podcast & Book Series.
  • JurassicRank.com
A Search Experience Consultancy born from my prediction about the Agentic Web.

Gosh 🙈 What a mouthful!

Strip all that—and at my core, I’m simply a deep thinker (an idea worker).
THIS is the legacy I hope to build. I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me.

Growing up, I always championed the idea of raising the human consciousness.

A philosophy that naturally extended to the world of work, which, let’s face it, has the most significant impact on our individual and collective futures.

It’s within this dynamic landscape that I discovered my true calling.

Through my platform, I study & translate the complexities shaping tomorrow’s marketplace into clear, actionable insights.

Think AI, emerging work models, talent trends, leadership, or any one of the 50 other forces redefining everything from how we work to what skills matter most.

Collectively, I call this, The Future of Work 2.0. My mission?

  • To explore how professionals can stay relevant, resilient, and remarkable in an increasingly AI-dominated world.
  • Whether you’re calling the shots, climbing the ladder, or building your own dream project – I’m here to help you understand what’s coming, and most importantly, how to make it work for YOU.

How’d I get here? Now that’s an interesting read. Let’s rewind.

Life, for the most part, has been…well, life. You know, the peaks and valleys, the bills, the existential dread. But this past decade was something else entirely.

Let’s just say it deserves its own chapter, maybe even a whole book someday. For now we’ll call it, ‘A Defiant Ripple in the Pond of Convention’.

Oh and before we continue, if you’d like to work with me instead, you’re on the wrong page. This is the TMI section. Go here instead.

Here’s My Story

2013 to 2018

Episode 1: Setting The Stage

Moved to Australia at 18 diving head first into the world of work (total first-gen immigrant vibes). Guess what I spent my first paycheck on? Skydiving from 14,000 ft. Win.

About 2 years in, I transitioned to a ‘Direct Sales Role’ or in other words, ‘Military Training For Your Mind’.

  • On day 1 of sales training I received the best advice of my life: “Strive to be the student that never graduates“.
  • Little did I know that sales would end up becoming the very embodiment of that advice… My own perpetual graduate school for essential life and business skills.
  • Established sales excellence & leadership in 3 different organizations by the time I was 22. High ticket included.
  • Also fundraised for important charities namely Doctors Without Borders, Australian Red Cross, Clown Doctors, and Surf Life Savers among many others.
Episode 2: Chilling Intro To The World Within

Just as I was starting to believe in happily ever after, life decided to level up my difficulty setting. My winning streak was about to come to an end.

You see, building in a foreign country can be an enriching experience, but it’s not for the faint of heart. The isolation, the relentless curveballs – they’ll knock you down if you’re not careful.

And knock me down they did. Blindsided by a series of unexpected events, one after the other, unfortunately, I slipped into depression.

  • Of course, at the time, I had no idea what was even happening. I ended up losing an entire year to this before I started to regain my footing.
  • Then during a work conference in Gold Coast, I walked on fire with Kurek Ashley. Something fundamental within me shifted that day. I felt liberated.
  • More importantly, this pivotal event kickstarted my now decade-long affair with self love, impactful keynotes, and intentional personal development.
Episode 3: My Rookie Season In Business

On the flip side, the ever-evolving digital landscape always captivated me. At uni, this curiosity blossomed into a full-blown obsession with design language, copy, and the fascinating intersection between behavioral economics, brand & buyer psychology.

I put these skills to test when I co-founded a small e-commerce business with my mate at uni. We introduced a non-Australian brand to market for the first time.

  • Though not a financial success, our debut venture was a breeding ground for disruption, sending shockwaves through the status quo
  • All these early adventures led to two important discoveries ⤵️
  • The first was recognizing my innate drive for agency – an instinct to take initiative and forge ahead without waiting for permission or institutional validation.
  • And second, I thrived on the challenge of learning & then unifying diverse subjects, a trait that soon became a defining characteristic of my professional journey.

I captured a few of these moments too ➝

2019 to 2024

Episode 4: The Most Important Decision Of My Life

Everything went upside down for the hundredth time (literally) ➝ uni, job, endless visa wars, border roulette, Covid… you name it.

By 23, I sported the receding hairline of a seasoned Fortune 500 CEO, thanks entirely to the Australian student visa industrial complex. Let’s just say financial security never made the curriculum.

Exhausted by this endless struggle, I knew it was time for a major decision.

  • You see, I craved a future that transcended the mere label of a “first-generation immigrant” – a legacy built on more than just survival. Yet, the reward for all this effort felt like a cruel joke: the “privilege” of being stuck in a soul-crushing cycle.
  • Why soul-crushing? Because no matter how hard I worked, something always seemed to hold me back (the invisible ceiling as they say).
  • It’s hard to exactly put into words but think of a time when you tried swimming against the current. Exhausting hey? Now try doing that on repeat for 6 years but no matter what you do – everyone around you assumes you’re not even a swimmer.
  • SO YES, after staring down the barrel of an immigrant’s lifelong bureaucratic nightmare (plus some serious soul-searching) I decided it was time to adjust my sails and FIND MY OWN DESTINATION IN LIFE.
Episode 5: Leaving AU, Entering The Future of Work

This is when I officially bid farewell to the status quo, brought forward my 10-year plan, and launched myself into the future of work.

Let me set the scene ➝ this was about 18 months pre-COVID, gatekeepers of the job market were still stuck in a bygone era & anyone who possessed even the faintest echo of a disruptive thought process got the “thanks, but no thanks” email faster than you could say “hello”.

What I mean to say is, I was bit early to the party is all. This whole ordeal, however, turned into an unexpected blessing.

  • The resistance I faced in the marketplace pushed me to explore the very trends that were about to disrupt the world of work.
  • We’re talking fractional/autonomous work, leverage assets, portfolio careers, hybrid models, creator economy, and the rise of artificial intelligence – just to name a few.
  • My only regret? I wish I had bet on myself earlier.
Episode 6: My Final Transformation

The lessons from direct sales, all those years back, became my blueprint for this lone wolf journey. It was as if the pieces finally clicked into place – the sales training, the team building, the relentless pursuit of understanding what people truly want.

Business/gig-based work, I discovered, was just a larger canvas for the same skills… a commission-based symphony with higher stakes and a global audience.

But guess what? I FAILED. Miserably. As a bootstrapped 1st gen solopreneur, I had much to unlearn.

  • I realized that building personal agency wasn’t like anything I’d ever done. It wasn’t just a career choice, it was a lifestyle choice. And this isn’t the lifestyle one can simply switch off at 5pm.
  • The only way to win was to fully dedicate myself (mentally, physically, spiritually).
  • So, with nowhere left to hide, I dared myself to look within, HEAL & fully commit to whatever it took. Most important of which was personal growth – a term I use interchangeably with building one’s agency. I went ALL IN.
  • During this deep work, I also discovered The Japanese Art of Shuhari – a progression of learning that has since become a cornerstone to my transformation both personally and professionally.
  • Quit 25 different low-value habits that year (full cold turkey), hit the reset button & commenced my transformation. Oh & I also embraced my new look – bald & bold😎.

Here’s some of my progress so far ➝

**Which finally brings us to the fruits of this journey

2025 & Beyond

Episode 7: The Launch of My Integrated Ecosystem

After spending 10+ years in the high-octane world of sales, fractional marketing, emerging work models, and tech — a threefold realization dawned:

  1. I wanted to shed light on an important issue: How our world often pigeonholes polymaths like me, failing to grasp the full breadth of what we can offer.
  2. That all these years, while I helped my employers/clients build real assets, my expertise sat trapped in a resume – hostage to the sacred art of reference-checking. Zero Leverage. Zero Assets. Zero Ownership. THIS needed to change.
  3. Third, and perhaps the most urgent of them all.. I saw that soon the internet won’t just be surfed by humans anymore. It’ll be surfed by agents.

AI Agents that will not only assist in discovery but also actively filter, prioritize, and even transact on our behalf. And when that happens, a simple resume won’t cut it. A LinkedIn profile won’t either.

What I’ll need is an AI-augmented digital twin (in other words, a career asset). Something that could speak, negotiate, and build rapport on my behalf with the new gatekeepers of the internet. 24×7.

So ➝ I flipped the script.
I stopped compartmentalizing what made me different and started building an ecosystem where the full spectrum of my abilities could show up—united and on purpose.

This is when FutureSelot.com was born
My brainchild, a platform where I’m finally in sync.

Here, I shed the “specialist label” and embrace my true polymathic nature.
Here, I contribute to a better future for work, a better future for society.

FutureSelot.com isn’t just a website… It’s a call to action. It’s about redefining work, breaking free from outdated models, and embracing a future brimming with possibilities.

It also enables me to demonstrate (for the first time) the extensive scope of the skills I have to offer: writing, brand, design language, web dev, content strategy, SEO & CRO, speaking, producing, UX as well as a deep understanding of search intent, trends, buyer and seller psychology.

And sure enough, a few of these expressions evolved into standalone assets — like JurassicRank, my quiet rebellion against legacy SEO where I reimagine search through the lens of intuition, brand, and the upcoming agentic-powered web.

BUT that’s not all… ⤵️

At the heart of this asset lies a simple, timely question:

How can professionals like me —
Without a unicorn idea, funding, or backdoor access —
Build true, independent career insurance in an increasingly AI-dominated world?

Turns out, I’m not the only one asking this.
Quietly, globally, thousands of others are asking it too.

So I did what I do best: I gave it a name. A voice.
A signal strong enough to cut through ⤵

Episode 8: Lastly, I’m Taking The Stage!

Forget snooze-fest origin stories! Mine’s more like a fever dream come to life – flaming chainsaws, unicycles, blindfolds… you get the picture. It’s been a chaotic, hilarious, and occasionally terrifying tightrope walk over a metaphorical crocodile pit (don’t ask).

But hey, the good news is I haven’t fallen in yet.

And the even better news? This journey’s been totally worth it, for reasons I’ll have to save for my talk itself. The beginnings, however, were a different story altogether.

Pushback from the status quo – check, first-gen hurdles – double check, even the occasional face-plant into depression or the sting of racism… these weren’t just roadblocks, they were my unwelcome companions on this adventure of a journey.

Then again, smooth sailing wouldn’t make for much of a story now, would it?

But thanks to these stark realities—every struggle, every hurdle, and every download became a brushstroke on my soul, painting this unique lens through which I see the world. A lens forged in the crucible of undying ambition, resilience & grit.

As for my talks? They’re not lectures. Think laughter, tears, ‘aha’ moments, and maybe even a little Burna Boy (because who can resist a good afrobeat, hey?😎).

My talks are Also a Call to Action.

I don’t want to leave audiences with just insights; but a renewed sense of possibility, a burning desire to write their own epic chapter, and the tools to turn that desire into reality.

Be it Agency, Leadership, The Future of Work, Brand, Personal Transformation, or Performance.

So, if want to ignite your event with a story that’s equal parts hilarious, thought-provoking, yet slightly terrifying (kinda like real life) Get in touch with me here.

**Wow, you made it to the end!**
